Over thirteen years ago, my marriage broke down — and along with it, I lost my business and the stability I’d built. I was a single mum of four, trying to keep everything together while feeling like everything I’d worked for had disappeared overnight.

Years later, when life started to feel a little lighter, I found love again… but in 2021, I lost my partner to suicide. That loss broke me open in ways I can’t even describe. But it also became the moment I decided to rebuild my life with purpose — to create something that gave both freedom and meaning.

That’s when tonkDM was born.
